Haiti - Duvalier : Can we really arrest "Baby Doc"?

The FIDH(1) and its member organizations in Haiti believe that the immediate detention of Jean Claude Duvalier is indispensable. The former dictator must indeed face justice for the numerous crimes that qualify as crimes against humanity that have characterized his regime (1971-1986). FIDH and its leagues in Haiti also ask the Haitian government and to the government commissioners of the country to the public action in movement against the Duvalier family, so that the money embezzled by the Duvalier could be returned.Full Story
