The OAS mission is the object of suspicion from the group of 12

12 presidential candidates express their mistrust vis-à-vis the verification process of the preliminary results of the poll on 28 November.Reiterating their demand on the outright cancellation of games, the presidential candidates argue that the OAS has neither quality nor the legitimacy to claim to verify the accuracy of results.

Former Prime Minister Jacques Edouard Alexis says that the new electoral mission of the OAS is not illegal because under the election law. The OAS is part of the problem not the solution to hammer the MPH candidate who takes little account of the expert mission.

This view is shared by Mr. Charles Smarky wondering how the OAS can be both judge and party. He recalled that the head of the observer mission of the OAS, Colin Granderson, had estimated that the elections of November 28 was conducted in good conditions.

At the same time the 12-denounces the attempt of the OAS that is designed to save the elections characterized by massive fraud and serious irregularities.

Industrialist Charles Henry Baker condemns the approach of the OAS officials. It ensures that 90% of minutes were falsified. An audit of the minutes will not help Mr. Baker added that a revaluation of the entire process is essential. Recalling the ballot stuffing systematic Mr. Baker believes that the only possible option is the cancellation of the poll.

In addition to canceling the poll group of 12 in favor of the formation of a transitional government with effect from 7 February. Jacques Edouard Alexis, Preval's former Prime Minister, expressed confidence that the current head of state will leave on February 7. Reacting to the obvious desire of President Preval to hold on to power until May 14, Mr. Alexis ensures that the Haitian people will install a new president February 7, 2011.
